How to install

    Tap “Download .apk”. Chrome warns that the file might be harmful — tap “Download anyway”. Chrome shows this for any file that is not from Google Play.

    The first time, the phone asks for permission: Settings → “Install unknown apps” → Chrome → “Allow from this source”. Then go back.

    Open the downloaded file (notification shade or “Downloads”) and tap “Install”. The Unit Control icon appears on your home screen.

If a Play Protect window appears

Play Protect may say it doesn't recognise the app. Tap “More details” → “Install anyway”.

Updates arrive in the app automatically. If a new build is released, install it from here over the old one — your data and sign-in are kept.
